With the Manchester United takeover bidding process entering a crucial stage, it appears that Sheikh Jassim's camp may well have the momentum and confidence that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is lacking after months of talks and negotiations. The Glazers have a decision to make over whether they will leave the club they have owned for the best part of 18 years or continue in some capacity, but there will be some changes at the top no matter what.
Both Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe have made their final offers for United and if reports are to be believed, the Qatari-based consortium are edging in front. There is still no guarantee over the preferred bidder, however, with the Raine group still handling the £6billion transaction.
