Arsenal are running the risk of Manchester United snapping up one of Mikel Arteta’s stars this summer in Thomas Partey. The Gunners are reportedly ready to sell the Ghanaian amid contract issues, with Juventus and Saudi Arabia previously thought to be the frontrunners for his signature.
However, The Sun have claimed that Erik ten Hag is showing an interest in Partey, while Arsenal are prepared to let him leave this summer. The 30-year-old has just two years left on his current contract at the Emirates, if they are unable to come to terms on a new deal then this summer may be the perfect time to get a reasonable transfer fee for the midfielder.

He is said to prefer a move to Juventus and initial talks have taken place, but whether the Serie A side are willing to meet Arsenal’s asking price upwards of £30m. If Juventus are not prepared to pay that fee, perhaps United are - resulting in Ten Hag’s interest.
Arsenal likely would prefer not to strengthen a Premier League rival such as United by selling Partey to them, but if their offer is the best one on the table then Arteta and sporting director Edu would have to consider it.
