Chelsea owner Todd Boehly could be poised to finance a big-money move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer, according to various Italian media outlets. The Blues have been the Premier League's biggest spenders in the last two transfer windows but a high number of sales have also been engineered as of late, with no less than seven players having moved on since the end of last season.
Chelsea have already made over £134million by selling the likes of Kai Havertz, Edouard Mendy and Mateo Kovacic this summer, with the money raised set to be invested into further signings for new boss Mauricio Pochettino. Vlahovic has reportedly emerged as a potential target for the Blues, with a number of Italian outlets reporting that a move to Stamford Bridge could soon be on the horizon for the Serbian forward.Juventus are looking to sell a handful of players over the next few weeks, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who are reporting that Chelsea are 'preparing the lunge' for Vlahovic and could submit an official bid 'shortly'. The west Londoners have also been named by Sport Mediaset as one of the player's main suitors, with Manchester United said to be among the other sides keeping tabs on his current situation in Italy. Both clubs are reported to be 'at the window' for Vlahovic and could be set to submit 'important offers' to Juventus before the transfer window slams shut. Tottenham are also believed to be keen on the 23-year-old, with all three clubs prepared to offer around £55million in exchange for his signature.

However, it remains to be seen if such a bid would be accepted by Juventus, with Tuttojuve claiming that they would only be willing to sell Vlahovic for a fee in excess of £68m. This figure is also stated by Tuttosport when bringing up Vlahovic as one of the players who could be leaving the Allianz Stadium for a new club at some point this summer. It would not be a surprise to see Chelsea add a new striker to their squad over the coming weeks and they could do far worse than to land Vlahovic, who has long been considered as one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe. He was previously linked with a potential move to Arsenal, who were said to have been courting him before he eventually signed for Juventus in early 2022.
Vlahovic scored 14 goals in all competitions for Juventus last season as a 15-point deduction saw the Italian giants consigned to a lower mid-table finish in Serie A. He will be hoping to produce a similar output in attack when the new campaign gets underway, although only time will tell if he will be playing for Juventus or another team elsewhere in the UK or Europe. It seems as though Pochettino would be eager to welcome a player of Vlahovic's calibre into the dressing room at Chelsea, with the Argentine insisting in a press conference on Friday that he is planning to add further quality to his ranks as he prepares for his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge."The squad is not the whole squad yet, but the players are open and the attitude is amazing," the Blues manager told reporters. "We are going to add more quality. The past is not too far away but when you finish the season you need to move on. There's no point looking back. I am a positive person."
