Mason Mount has rubbed salt in the wound for Chelsea after footage emerged of the new Manchester United signing lauding his 'special' surroundings as he explored his new home for the first time. The £60million midfielder left his boyhood club after 17 years with the Blues to join Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford this summer, and while the reaction to Mount's departure has generally been positive from Chelsea's side, supporters may not be happy when they hear his latest comments.

Mount admitted that he left Stamford Bridge with a heavy heart after coming through the Chelsea youth team since the age of seven. But the 2021 Champions League winner is hoping to add more silverware to his trophy cabinet after making the controversial switch to their rivals United.
