Sheikh Jassim reportedly has a growing fear that the Glazers may not sell Manchester United at all despite a gruelling eight-month period since the current owners confirmed that they were considering the possibility of a full takeover. Both the Qatari-backed bid and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have made numerous offers, the latest close to the £6billion valuation, but are yet to receive a response.
The Guardian have claimed that Jassim is increasingly uncertain about whether the Glazer family will all agree on selling the club, as there has been a four-week spell of no communication since his last take-it-or-leave-it bid.

Jassim’s offer for the entirety of the club as opposed to Ratcliffe’s bid for just the Glazers’ shares is thought to have placed him in pole position ahead of the INEOS chief. However, without any communication from the selling party, both bidders are being left in the dark.
Club icon Rio Ferdinand has claimed that the delay in proceedings have been caused by the Glazer family all needing to be on the same page, which aligns with Jassim’s worries. “I think the big issue is, when you’re dealing with a group of people rather than an individual, it makes things very complex and difficult at times,” he said on his YouTube channel.
