Newly-appointed Southampton boss Russell Martin has revealed he'll be powerless when it comes to keeping some of the clubs top talents - hinting Romeo Lavia will depart St Mary's this summer. The highly-rated Belgian ball-winner is being tracked closely by the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal but the Saints will likely have to reduce their £45m asking price in order to strike a deal for the 19-year-old.
Lavia was one of only few shining for Southampton last season as the club finished bottom of the pile in the Premier League.
"I think there will be some players who we can't avoid [losing] who will be back in the Premier League."
Liverpool have opened contact over a swoop for Lavia but reports on Wednesday morning would appear to indicate a move is not imminent.
Chelsea are currently prioritising the signing of Brighton's Moises Caicedo with the Blues clear frontrunners to land the Ecuadorian.
