Manchester United have been told Rasmus Hojlund ‘isn’t in the same league as Erling Haaland’ as they look to sign the Atalanta striker this summer. Erik ten Hag is keen on the Denmark international as he looks to acquire an upgrade on Anthony Martial. However, any deal would certainly represent a risk.
Manchester United are pursuing a deal for Hojlund, with the 20-year-old now represented by the same agency as manager Ten Hag.

“He’s left footed, strong and powerful so inevitably there will be some comparisons with Haaland but he’s not in his league.
“Hojlund can improve because he’s still young but any time you buy potential there’s always a danger, it’s a gamble.”
But whether they can acquire the youngster remains to be seen, with United also set to invest in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
“Whoever they buy has to fit into the squad, age-wise they have to be the right age to get some value on them when they leave the football club.
