Manchester United are set to make a big loss on Harry Maguire if he is sold this summer, as they have set an asking price for the England man to his suitors. The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag and has been urged to leave Old Trafford in order to play regular football next season.
The Red Devils boss clearly preferred Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and even Luke Shaw at centre-back over Maguire in the second half of the season and with his England position to be considered, Maguire has been tipped to make way as captain and leave United.

However, United are not actively looking to sell Maguire after fringe centre-backs Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe have already left the club on free transfers. The Red Devils are aware that if their skipper does depart, a replacement would need to be found and Maguire also is not pushing to leave and wants to fight for his place.
“Of course the longer that situation goes on the more concerning it is and we’ve got, in Marc Guehi, Lewis Dunk, Tyrone Mings, players who are playing well without the same experiences of club European football or international football. But we’ve got to keep searching for competition in that area of the pitch.”
