Erik ten Hag is set to take the captaincy away from Harry Maguire as the Manchester United appears increasingly likely to be leaving the club this summer. The Dutchman has reportedly decided to hand the armband to one of his regular players after Maguire fell down the pecking order last season, and it seems the defender may have played his last game for the club as they prepare to cash in on the England international to raise funds to complete their transfers.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from United as he was used as a bit-part player in Ten Hag's squad last season, with only eight of his 16 Premier League appearances coming from the start.
