Harry Maguire may have given away his position on leaving Manchester United on social media, as he has been tipped to depart Old Trafford this summer. The Red Devils’ captain has fallen down the pecking order significantly since Erik ten Hag took over a year ago, prompting calls for Maguire to leave in search of regular playing time.
The England man lost his place just two games into the Premier League season and the Dutch boss clearly preferred a partnership of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane while Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw were also given the nod on occasion over Maguire. United reportedly are not actively looking to sell the 30-year-old this summer, with two years left on his deal, but have slapped a £50million price tag on their skipper.

“He’s spending time with training one on one with ex-Portuguese legend defender Ricardo Carvalho. Harry still wants to fight for his place at Man United and not give up, waiting to speak with Erik ten Hag about his future.”
He has kept his place for England despite Southgate voicing his concerns, with the European Championships just a year away, but whether Maguire can remain first-choice for his country through another year of rarely featuring for his club remains to be seen.
