Manchester United have reportedly increased their offer for Andre Onana but have still yet to match Inter Milan’s asking price. Onana has been identified as the perfect replacement for the outgoing Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea.
United are the frontrunners to secure Onana’s signature despite reported interest from Saudi Arabian clubs. The 27-year-old impressed during Inter’s shock run to the Champions League final last season and is extremely comfortable in possession - unlike his potential United predecessor.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, United have made an improved verbal proposal amounting to £38.5m (€45m). It is unlikely to see the Italian side accept the bid, with director of football John Murtough needing to further increase his offer.
Al-Nassr, the club Cristiano Ronaldo joined following his Old Trafford exit last season, have supposedly made Onana their priority for the goalkeeping position. Former Arsenal shot-stopper David Ospina is set to miss the opening months of the Saudi Pro League season with an injury, so the club are seeking a replacement.
