Denver Nuggets centre Nikola Jokic has much cause for celebration after helping his side claim the 2023 NBA Championship. The Serbian played a vital part in the team's success after defeating Miami Heat in the finals.

Claiming the MVP award for the finals series, the 28-year-old scored 28 points to help drag the Nuggets to their first NBA title by winning Game 5. The game ended in a 94-89 win, a 4-1 series win overall.

Despite his humble comments, Jokic was then asked how he will be spending his time afer the win. In response, he was quick to ask Arsenal director Josh Kroenke, son of Stan Kroenke who owns the Nuggets, to fulfill a cheeky request.

Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) became the owners of Arsenal back in August 2018 with an offer of £550m. Josh Kroenke has continued to work under his fathers enterprise and is on the directors board of the North London club.
