Therefore, testing the waters with an enquiry for Martinez is certainly something worth considering.

And with United needing an upgrade on Anthony Martial, pursuing Martinez is something that can’t be ruled out.

One person who has already endorsed a potential deal for Martinez is United legend Paul Scholes, who said back in March: “I like Lautaro Martinez at Inter Milan.
