After a frantic start to the summer transfer window, things now seemed to have calmed down. Ever so slightly, at least. The deals that dominated the headlines are now either finalised or on the home straight. Mason Mount completed his move to Manchester United on Wednesday while Arsenal are expected to finalise the signings of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber by the end of the week.
Yet many Premier League clubs still have plenty to do and with eight weeks to go before the September 1 deadline, this could easily prove to be the most expensive transfer window in history.
