Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. The news will be a big blow for the Bavarian giants who are now without the extra £25million cash injection to help boost their bid for Harry Kane.

Sky Sports' transfer expert Florian Patterson reports that the Reds are out of the race for the Dutchman and are instead focusing their attention on the signing of Romeo Lavia. However, the Athletic claim that Liverpool aren't looking to snap up another midfielder until they offload one of their existing players in the centre of the park.

Bayern will be hoping offload a number of players this summer as they continue their pursuit of Kane and Gravenberch is believed to be one of them. Yet the 21-year-old is under the assumption he will be staying at the club.

Although Daniel Levy is making things hard for Kane to get a move away from Spurs, the Tottenham chief does reportedly have a "gentleman's agreement" with his skipper to allow him to leave for a club outside of England.
