Tottenham target Micky van de Ven's agent sets record straight on '£30m agreement'

Micky van de Ven's agent has confirmed Tottenham are still yet to agree a transfer fee with Wolfsburg despite reports recently claiming a deal has now been struck between the two sides. Spurs remain in the hunt for the 22-year-old Dutchman but they are also continuing background talks with Bayer Leverkusen over the potential acquisition of Edmond Tapsoba.

Both players are of strong interest to Tottenham, who are expected to bring in two central defenders in the summer transfer market.

Wolfsburg are looking for in excess of £30m to agree to a sale and although Spurs are thought to have agreed personal terms with the defender, they are yet to present a formal offer.

Manor Solomon is set to undergo a medical at Tottenham after Spurs agreed to sign the Shakhtar Donetsk winger on a free transfer.
