Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has launched a new venture that sees him following in the footsteps of UFC star Conor McGregor. The four-time NBA champion has entered the world of whiskey as he looks to expand his portfolio away from basketball.

The 35-year-old has launched a new whiskey brand named Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Having helped lauched the business this summer, the whiskey is an exciting new project for one of the NBA's most decorated players.

Back in 2021, McGregor sold a majority stake in his company for an impressive $600m (£483m). Curry will be hoping to be as fortunate as McGregor with his new attmept at breaking into the market.

According to a report from Food & Wine, the NBA star was 'intimately involved' in every piece of the process when making the borubon, including both the manufacturing and marketing. A 750ml bottle of the whiskey is expected to retail at around $79.99 (£64).
