Chelsea are set to take the unprecedented step of releasing their new shirt for the 2023-24 season without a sponsor on the front as Todd Boehly faces a new crisis. The Blues have been searching for a new front-of-shirt sponsor since their previous agreement expired at the end of last season, and reports suggest the west London club could now be forced to launch their fresh design without a brand on the front.

Chelsea's deal with mobile phone company Three expired at the end of the 2021-22 season, but due to the club's dire situation after they were placed under sanctions, it was agreed with kit manufacturers Nike that the agreement would carry on for one more year.
