Kylian Mbappe's recent comments suggest that he won't be committing his future to Paris Saint Germain - adding more fuel to the fire he could leave the Ligue 1 side. The Frenchman is currently out on holiday in Cameroon and was asked by reporters where he would be playing next season.

The 24-year-old replied with an elusive, tongue-in-cheek answer in the third person: “Kylian is in Cameroon for the time being, and that’s the most important thing. I want to make the most of my stay, get the most out of my holidays. I want to enjoy being with the people of Cameroon, that’s my only concern.”

PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi stance remains clear on the matter. He said: "My position is very clear. I don't want to repeat it every time: if Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he has to sign a new contract. We don't want to lose the best player in the world for free. We can't do that."

Spanish giants Real Madrid are linked with a move for Mbappe after missing out on him in 2021 meanwhile Liverpool are also said to be in the conversation. But according to the Independent, if Mbappe is going to move to the Premier League then his 'preference' would be to join Arsenal.
