Man Utd have perfect Mason Greenwood swap deal opportunity as ’interest registered’

Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood is reportedly a transfer target for Atalanta. The England international could leave the club this summer, having last played for the Red Devils back in January 2022. And with Erik ten Hag keen on Rasmus Hojlund, a potential swap deal could be on the cards.

Manchester United are yet to provide an update on Greenwood.

Juventus are another team supposedly interested in signing the United star.

While the Red Devils would be keen to loan out their current No 11, a clean break would potentially suit all parties.

Speaking last month, meanwhile, Simon Jordan insisted United would be smart to loan out Greenwood.

“With all those factors in play, I think it’s a sensible move [loan overseas]. It’s not kicking the can down the road.”
