Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp told of 'massive transfer mistake' despite Szoboszlai signing

Former Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique thinks Jurgen Klopp may have made a mistake in letting Roberto Firmino depart the club on a free transfer. The Brazilian forward departs Merseyside as an Anfield icon and has since signed for Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli ahead of a new chapter in the Middle East.

Despite the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, Enrique can't help but feel Liverpool should have kept hold of Firmino as it could come back to haunt them.

Despite the emotional goodbye, Klopp hopes Liverpool have enough to fill the void of Firmino and there is optimism Nunez could really take off following his challenging debut season in the Premier League.

They are set to offer the Senegal international a three-year contract in a bid to try and persuade him to leave Europe.
