Manchester United will reportedly make a £50million bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. It is claimed that Erik ten Hag has decided upon the Denmark international as his top striker target.

United are keen to sign a striker this summer following the departure of loanee Wout Weghorst and the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo late last year. Anthony Martial has proved to be unreliable fitness-wise, while Marcus Rashford has thrived when played out wide.

A deal worth up to £60m has already been secured for Mason Mount. A goalkeeper is also on the agenda, with Andre Onana the top target.

Hojlund, meanwhile, only joined Atalanta from Sturm Graz last summer. But he made an immediate impression for the Italian side, scoring nine goals in 32 Serie A appearances.
